Just a little behind!
Ok, ok, ok, yea I got a little behind. I do have an excuse though, I choose to be cheap and continue to use dial up vs. dsl, so it takes a while to load anything. So, I won't be posting alot of pictures. Not to mention, time sure can get away from you. On that note, Ava will turn 5 months old this Wed. Nov. 5th. At her last Well Child Check, she weighed 14# 7 oz, and was 24" long. She can roll over both ways, sitting with some help, making all kinds of noise, lots of drool, and teething. She has been sleeping thru the night since she was 10 wks old. So far she's meeting all of her milestones. She loves going to church. All the smaller kids at church are boys, but they all have to come to see and touch her every Sunday morning. I've been surprised how intrested these boy's have been. I figured a baby wouldn't interest them much, but they want to hold her and everything. She loves it, she smiles and talks to them. It's funny, we've joked a few times that one of them could be her future husband. Who knows, Nathan and I were basically neighbors.

UPDATE
Wew, did I get behind! Well let's see. We had Ava Rose LaRue on June 5th at Parkwest Hospital. She was 6 lbs, 11 oz., and 18 1/2" long. She has been a very good baby. She usually only cries if she's hungry or if her stomach is hurting. If we knew all our children would turn out as good as she is, there's no telling how many we would have. She looked just like her Daddy to begin with, but is now starting to look like me. I think it has to do with her new chubby cheeks. She has been to the Dr. for her 2 month check-up and is now 10 lbs, 3 oz. and 21 1/2" long, and also had her first set of shots. She was dedicated at church on July 20th, both of Nathan's sisters with their families & Papa George came. We have been blessed beyond words with a precious, sweet, healthy baby. We are excited to watch her grow and learn (hopefully not too fast), and enjoy every moment.

General Update
As of May 6th, I was put on "house arrest", due to my blood pressure and swelling. The good news is that so far it hasn't turned into "Pre-eclampsia". So I've been to the doctor 4 times in the last 2 weeks, they've done 2 fetal non-stress tests and ultra sounds, and the baby looks fine. Last Monday the 12th, they estimated she weighed 6 lbs and has hair! The hair really excites me, since I was nearly bald until I was 2 yrs old. I have to go back to the doctor this Friday for another blood pressure check, then I expect they will start talking about induction. Will try to keep everyone posted.
Baby Shower's
We have been blessed with 3 baby showers in the past month (my work, the church, and a community/family shower). We are so blessed to have so many people that care about us! We have gotten more stuff than I know what to do with. Here are some pictures from the showers.

Nathan's Brag
This post if for David. This is the deer Nate got this fall, out of the field behind the house. He just got back the mount this week. Since I accidently deleted all the pictures of it off the camera (only days after he had killed it), he's very excited to see it again. He thinks it's a decendent of the one from last year. I told him he has to get another one, I don't like even numbers.
The LaRue Zoo
Here's a few pictures of our newest additions to the "zoo." Ava's in for a big surprise, hope she doesn't want it to quiet! At the top are 4 of our 6 dogs, our first children. I might add if children are any thing like Jack Russell Terriers we should be o.k. Pictured left to right: Maggie (the mother of the crew), Puddles (a grand-pup), Dewey, and Lewey. The kittens were an accident, their mother had a date with the neighbor's cat before I could get her to the vet for her spay. But they're 3 weeks old, cute, all males, any takers! And lastly, the only farm animals we will ever afford to raise, chicken. These are 24 female chicks to add to the 5 others we already have. We will be selling eggs sometime in August. If they all make it they will produce 2 dozen eggs per day.
